Strawberry Lakes is a three lake subdivision with a small pond at the entrance within the city of Lake Worth, Florida. It is not gated, town homes and single-family homes are modest and affordable. The average home price hovers around $125,000. The community was constructed in 1989, most homes made of brick, single story and three bedrooms. The lawns and landscaping are beautiful and compliment the lakes nicely.
Residents enter Strawberry lakes from Lantana Road, a minute drive upon which brings residents to Buttonwood Park. This park is yet another great Palm Beach County Park, spread out over 17 acres. Three full-court basketball courts, a gazebo, three multipurpose fields and ample parking only begin to describe this excellent outdoor recreational area. Grills and single tables line the picnic area, while a pavilion is available for reservation. Multiple playgrounds structures are available including one for children aged two to five years and another for those aged five to twelve years. Volleyball courts, restroom facilities and a huge lake to the east round out the park. Further down Lantana Strawberry Fields residents are taken to Lake Osbourne and finally the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, specifically East Ocean Ave.
The children of Strawberry Lakes can enjoy growing up in a safe and pristine community, while attending top rated schools in Palm Beach County. Children's Ark Pre-School Academy, Indian Pines Elementary School, Diamond View Elementary, Manatee Elementary and Tradewinds Middle are located nearby. Private businesses offer supplemental education services mixed with entertainment including Future Kids, That's Dancing Inc. and Picasso's Paint-Your-Own Pottery.
