The community of Evergrene loves nature. The homes blend into their lush surroundings instead of dominating them. 963 homes make up the community, which means it's quite large, but it does not sacrifice even an ounce of luxury. In fact, it's more luxurious than most communities in the area. Three associations manage seven subdivisions, which is extremely important when being part of a community of this size. One or two companies would be stretched too thin to properly manage the entirely of Evergrene. Residents can feel safe, secure and private in Evergrene while at the same time remaining completely self sufficient within the community because it has so much to offer. Residents range from snow birds to young families to single working professionals.
Part of the Evergrene community consists of single-family homes, while another portion referred to as The Mansions (east and west) is devoted to condominiums. Home sizes range from three to five bedrooms, constructed between 2003 and 2006. Because residents love nature, activity is incredibly popular in this community -- both outside and inside, which makes the clubhouse such a perfect addition. Schools include William T. Dwyer High, Beacon Cove Intermediate, Watson B. Duncan Middle and Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary.
The Evergrene community is greatly benefited by its 20,000 square foot clubhouse. It truly takes the community from a series of subdivisions to a resort. For one, it simply acts as a place for the community to congregate, encouraging interaction and fun. But residents can also exercise in a variety of ways at the clubhouse including jazzercise, aerobics and pilates. Children can be dropped off in the clubhouse daycare classroom and other children can use the computer room. When relaxation is of order, the pool area is available and nearly as expansive as a water park: putting green, lighted basketball, volleyball court with real beach sand, children's watermark, several hot tubs and a heated swimming pool.
