Wingfield Development and Carteret Savings and Loan developed Boca Gardens from the mid-eighties to the late eighties. Boca Gardens is a subdivision of Boca Raton. The town home portion was constructed during the first through fourth phases, while the single family homes comprised the fifth. The Boca Gardens community spans from U.S. 441 east to Lyons Road south of Clint Moore Road.

The community has a active seven-member board including four directors, one secretary, one treasurer and a president.
