Waterview Estates is a quaint neighborhood community consisting of 235 town homes in Palm Springs, Florida. The "water view" referred to in the name refers to the large L-shaped lake around which the community is shaped. Homes are located on Davis Road, Waterview Drive and Waterview Circle. The community is similar to other town home communities in Florida. These one-story residences are short and tan with roofs made of wooden shingles. The sections of town homes are outlined with wooden fencing. Each unit has a nicely sized patio made private by stained fencing.
The landscaping at Waterview Estates is beautiful. Palms line the clean pathways which wind through the community, lawns are brightly colored and well trimmed. The community makes a great place for retirement, though if children are part of your family it's just as great of a place to live. Nearby schools include Palm Springs Elementary, John. I. Leonard High School, Palm Beach State College, St. Luke Catholic School, Global Learning Preschool, JFK Medical Center Charter School and Palm Springs Middle School.
Looking to shop in the area? Walmart, Pier 1 Imports, Walgreens, Dollar Tree and the shops at Palm Springs Plaza have your basic needs covered. When it's time to hit the mall, Boynton Beach Mall is waiting, along with the Greenwood Shopping Center, the Town & Country Shopping Center and the Mall at Wellington Green.
The city of Palm Beach Gardens, in which Waterview Estates is located, had a population of 48,452 in 2010. It's well known for the amount of gated communities which it contains, which is certainly saying something considering the huge presence of these communities in south Florida. The city is very nature-focused and as a result attractive to those who appreciate the outdoors. In fact, the two large banyan trees which were moved during the creation of the city in the 60s are still depicted on the city shield.
