The Thousand Oaks is a beautiful gated community in Riviera Beach. Residential roads include Rosegate Blvd and Center Stone Ln. The rear of the community consists of single-family homes while the front of the community consists of townhomes. In between these two layers of the community is a winding waterway which sets the community off and provides lake views to both the town home and single-family residences. A third portion of the community also consists of single-family homes which are starter-homes compared to the larger more ornate residences located in the back of the community.
What could be better, in short, than living on the water? The single family homes of this community back right up to the water, which includes fountains at some junctures. Patios are made from special brick and are lined by lush green grass. The water is clean, inviting and placid -- looking at times like a shimmering sheet of glass. For those who have never had a view before, this is a great place to start.
Thousand Oaks is not just gated, but guard gated. This means a guard is on hand at all times -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week -- to take care of unwanted visitors. Those who treasure their privacy and security will find this amenity invaluable; in fact, many community associations identify security as their primary concern. After all, if security is not had then how can a community thrive? The community also features a clubhouse with swimming pool, Har-Tru tennis court and basketball court. Until you've lived in an all-inclusive community it's hard to know what you're missing.
Schools which serve the Thousand Oaks community include Washington Elementary School, John F. Kennedy Middle School and Suncoast Community High School.
